This is an important experience since it is preventing new users from joining LG.
I tried 3 times to register, under 3 different email/names and not once did the admin get back to me with a follow up email, stating that my account was active and ready to go.
I had to email Eric Pincus directly to see if he could help me out, which he did.
How come the above happened? Are the admins just overwhelmed? Or did my registrations not get through?
Also, there's no email address in the auto-email sent from the registration on who you can reach if your registration doesn't work. And you can't post in this section, unless you're registered. |

JD usually takes care of that, but we sent him on a week-long cruise in honor of his 10,000th banning.
What really happened is that we went to manual verification to block all the bots. I honestly don't know who's been watching it recently. I've been concentrating my efforts on server-side performance issues.
As for the e-mail address -- yeah, getting all those documents up to date is something else I've been working on. |
