I personally prefer Jay Leno. For some reason I just don't find Conan's segments nearly as funny as Leno's.

Leno rips off others. Conan has a bunch of inside jokes. Conan>>>>Leno>>>>Kimmel>>>>Letterman.

Leno has a team of comedy writers. Conan seems to be more off the wall. At least, he comes off that way. Conan tends to be more crude in some of his jokes. Jay trys to appeal to the older midwest audience. I think it's a bit generational.

Conan wrote for SNL. He has better delivery. His humor flows better. Leno tends to emphasize his punchline as if he's reading it. It's got to be a tough gig to be in the public so much and not get stale.

Conan also produced several episodes for the Simpsons back during the glory days.

Yes I have noticed he does rip off others but I still find Conan's segments a bit too immature for me.
