Neither of these guys (Liddell or Horn) are even near being the best in the world. Not even close.

Yea I don't care what you guys think i think Liddell is probably the best fighter. He is from California and he is ultimatley the the most ultimate fighter. None of that Jeremy Horn submission [DELETED]. Liddell is all knockouts kings style, the way fighting is all about. He is master at Boxing, wrestling, Shaolin Kung Fu, Muay Thai kick boxing. Which all equals to kick you azz biooaatch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great post. I love the last sentence. hilarious.

Yeah... and couple of days for bypassing the profanity filter, also.

Try a search next time, also.

Oh yeah... and Horn/Liddell #1 was hardly a fluke. Horn about knocked his ass out, with a kick... that had it connected about an inch lower, would have sent him flying over the fence. As it was... it still rocked his world and had him reeling. Submission holds are not flukes, either.

Agreed. Submissions are a HUGE part of mixed martial arts. Frankly, anyone who dislikes submissions and grappling ain't a true mma fan. It's kinda like a basketball "fan" who only loves flashy dunks and doesn't like great passing and defense. KingKobeDubbz needs to realize that even Chuck himself believes submissions and grappling are so important that he's been doing jiu jitsu for over five years and is at a brown belt level.

I'd say Chuck's at least near the top, although no one can say he's definitely #1 with Pride's Vanderlei Silva around.

I think this Croatian dude Mirko Filipovic is fighting soon for some kind of a title in UFC or whatever it is.

I think he's good.

"Cro Cop" Filipovic is in a different weight division, though. He's a heavyweight, while Chuck's a light-heavy.

CroCop fights in an organization called Pride FC. His title fight against the current champion will be on PPV August 28th. Also on the card is the final round of the Light Heavyweight tournament featuring Vanderlei Silva (IMO, the best light heavyweight in the world).

If you are interested in MMA, you have to order that PPV. Check out their official site at www.pridefc.com.

I mean Horn's kick to Liddell was a blast swipe. The only thing Liddell can take a punch or a kick . Unlike Jeremy Horn . I mean you guys are right submission is not a fluke. It is truly a skill also. It is also true that you'll get way more respect in knockouts. I mean Liddell beat up Horn fair and square. Horn knew that he coulodn't go on with the fight beacuse his eyes face and mianly his eyes were busted up. he couldn't see anything. All the times Horn try to get Liddell on the floor he couldn't , Chuck was more than ready. Chuck is the better fighter hands down. He defended the belt to prove it. Oh yea JD sorry dude for my trash mouth. Just got a little excited on the fight. Got a couple buddies that was going for Horn when I am a die hard Liddell fan. It's all good Liddell took out Horn and my wallet got fatter ..hahah. keep up the good work....LAAAAATTTTESS

Ah man, too bad Mirko didn't beat Fedor.

It was a great fight, though.

Damn, you spoiled it for me, bro. It's not on pay per view here for another 8 hours.

Sorry, man..

Anywayz, it was a great fight.

This is the first time I actually those fights and I loved it. Pre fight show was great, they showed some great analysis. I really learned a lot about pride fighting.

That Russian Fedor dude is a freakin beast.
I thought Mirko was better in stand up fight but he was just too passive.
He was always the one defending himself.

I watched other fights, too.
That American dude, Abbot? looks hillarious.
