My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May you take comfort in the realization that his life touched those around him and solace in knowing that his memory lives on. Phil will be missed by all who knew him, and missed most by those that knew him best.

Damn.
Thanks Phil, for your big part in this little community.

I'm for a loss for words, I knew him from the days of Lakerstalk, and sadly lost touch with him when LT moved on.

R.I.P. my friend.

I'll miss his news contributions to LG. For what it's worth, I'd like to thank him for his tireless efforts in bringing us news on all things Lakers.

RIP Phil.

This is unbelieveable.. I feel like I have truly lost a family member.. Have known Phil on these boards and through emails for at least 7 years now..

He was one of the nicest and most caring people I ever knew...

A Philanthropist and lover of all of life... Always seeking to help anyone in need and those less fortunate...

I truly am in tears right now...

So sorry to hear about this...

Please.. if you want to do something for him or his family.. Go help a stranger or someone less fortunate than you in his memory.. please

RIP Brother Phil

I know Phil is a large part of building the foundation LG is built on. I spend a lot of time here so he helped give me a lot to enjoy and for that I thank him.

Yeah, he bought it from Jason. I would say that the man is a true Lakersground hero.

Rest in God's peace my friend. While we didn't always agree, your kindness and generosity were genuine and the world is a little bit colder today, especially in beautiful Joshua tree that you loved so much. God Speed Phil, you will be missed.

You summed up everything I wanted to say. Is there a way we can set up a memorial fund for a scholarship in his honor?
