hopefully the team can build on the defensive effort in the second half. 39 pts on 40 fg %. that's some good D right there.

You have to start Somewhere, after two losses like the two they've just been thru.

Oh don't get me wrong I'll take it, but if we play like we have recently against our next 2 opponents we are going to lose for sure

Why is Stu trying to argue with Joel so much. weird. He is going overboard.

agreeded. Maybe Stu had an over/under bet on the game or a point spread bet.

The 4th? Kobe will be putting up 30attempts in just a few minutes...

The rest?

They will be watching...

Are you kidding me? Your guy Lamar Lamar Odom was singlehandly destroying the game. You are blind.

Funny, I distinctly remember the Lakers catching up with Kobe on the bench, and Odom in the game... So I guess yeah, I'm blind...

Odom did nothing but stupid plays in those sequences.

That J dropped by Odom that you apparently missed brought the Lakers within 2... Take this garbage somewhere else... Odom got jobbed tonight by the refs but still inflicted damage enough to contribute to that win. You can diss the effort all you like...

It ain't nothin...

I don't like Joel much, tell you the truth I don't like Stu either. But Stu needs to stop disrespecting the man, he's trying too hard to disagree with him and is sounding just down right silly and senile.

In one of the rare airs, I agree with you.

I think they should be ashamed for their lack of effort through the first 45 minutes of this game.

It's just the same old same old every game. We're either in a hole and digging ourselves out the in the 2nd half, or we're up and letting them back in. God it's been what a month since we had a consistent all-around game

I know, it's gotten pretty bad. I hope they address the issue and address it fast. My optimism is running out of fuel. It's hard to ignore the lack of effort on both ends of the floor. We can't show up in 1 half and expect to beat teams every game.

Yeah man, we'll see. Hopefully it is just a lack of effort. I'd rather it be that than a lack of talent/personnel. I guess we'll find out in these next 2 games

Kobe demonstrated what the Lakers need to do with that dunk at the end of the game. Dunked it right in their faces. Slaughter the teams, no mercy, kick them when they're down, PROVE A POINT!

true dat. I wish the rest of the team played with a chip on their shoulder like that, after the embarassment of game 6 last year.

PJ interview:

-Pau played a really fine ball game.

-One challenge was that the Lakers didn't know OJ Mayo...

-FISH played 40 mins....working on different combinations on the floor.

-LO was agressive and decisive.

-Played better D in the final minutes.

- (Regarding tomorrow's game) New Orleans is playing much better. We need to be much better on the screen and roll defense.

Are you seriously going to let one jump shot excuse Odom from all the boneheaded mistakes he made that almost cost us a win? Beyond delusional.

Hopefully that just means they realized that they hit rock bottom and are trying to right themselves.
