| since there was not a trade before training camp, I think there will be a trade at midseason when our record and our players are evaluated |

I don't think it is about our record and players, but other teams who want our players for their expiring contracts, but aren't going to trade players for contracts unless they know they aren't going to make the playoffs.
No one wants Slava for a full year, so we have to be patient... |

There has never been a mid-season trade on a team Phil was coaching. I don't see that changing now.

I think that after Slava, Cook, and DG become starters and lead the Lakers to the best record in the league, the Wolves will be begging us to take KG for them.
