George in a landslide. He changes our starting lineup from having 1 player w/ tri experience to 2 players w/ tri experience. And because we need superior defense while the team is learning the system, he is a superior athlete, long defender, and rebounder who can play multiple positions just like Kobe and Odom and he can also be a third ball handler.
IMO George is as important to our success as anyone other than Kobe this year. Especially during the first half.

Well, it looks like McKie is the best we've got - he's experienced and the rest of the guys (Smush, Sasha, Profit) are stiffs and Wafer is unproven

LO at point please don't do that. 1.7 assist to turnover ratio not good at all for a PG

Well, that ratio is from a different position. Kobe had a bad assits to TO ratio last year with the ball in his hands, watch that change with the new post position.

How did we go, from having the likes of Fisher, Shaw, Hunter, and Harper, to Smush...??!! Someone should have made a recording, and set it right next to where Mitch sleeps... "We need a point guard... We need a QUALITY point guard... Don't forget"...

Luke Walton

Because he "knows the triangle"

And since he cannot defend his man at any position, I don't see how it could be worse at PG.

Our PG doesn't have to do a (bleep) on the court. It'll be Odom who'll handle the ball and run the offense. All our PG has to do is at times take a shot or two, play some D (everyone can play D, if they want to, so shouldn't be a problem) and if needed, bring the ball up a few times in the game, give it to Kobe, Lamar or someone else and get the (bleep) out of the way. We need no stevenashs, barondavis', chaunceybillups' or raferalstons to do that.
