But I trust GTL's opinion more than almost everyone on here, so if he's unhappy with Kobe today, then so am I.

For those of you attacking GTL, he's one of the biggest Kobe suppoters on here.

I, for one, applaud the guy to be able to make paragraph long posts about how Kobe > MJ (although I'm not quite there yet) and then be able to make posts like he did in here.

Thanks GTL for your absolute awesomeness! We could use more posters like you who just spit that realness.

I think that when you watch the game you will realize that Kobe wasn't the problem. He was below average in the first half, but really brought it in the second, offensively and defensively.

19 points on 8-17 shooting is below average???

Good thing I had more going on this weekend than Laker games. These last two really sucked.

Glad bahston lost.

Hope Cleveland loses now.

Now I'm not hoping for much from the Lakers, just a nice little 38-game winning streak.

Losing 2 back-to-back again will hopefully get the Lakers back to focus. This team gets a little complacent after winning. Hell last week they blew a 13 pt 4th Quarter lead to NO, and the games with Wolves and Thunder were really much closer than they should have been. Problem is when you keep winning you really aren't motivated to fix your errors. After blowing out Phoenix a few days ago, I'm not sure if they expected to just wing it tonight.

Sure if this team goes back to winning against good teams, they'll probably get lethargic again, drop a few games, rinse and repeat. I guess as long as they keep HCA and keep winning through the playoffs there won't be much to really complain about.

funny thing is that we lost the 2 games right after all of this "lakers are better without bynum" talk started

exactly. So much for that theory.

Although it was lack of effort more than anything in the last 2 games. How the F do you lose to Phoenix without Nash and Amare?

Bryant to see dentist tonight for dislodged front tooth

PHOENIX β€” Kobe Bryant had one of his upper front teeth knocked backward when he took an elbow from Leandro Barbosa in the third quarter and will see Lakers team dentist Jeffrey Hoy as soon as the Lakers return to Los Angeles tonight.

Lakers trainer Gary Vitti yanked the tooth back into place rather than let it stay dislodged, but Bryant likely still needs further treatment.

β€œIt feels like Roger the Rabbit,” Bryant said.

There offense went really COLD after that, some costly turnovers, and whack defense gave the Suns the lead back in a hurry (and then some). They got within 2 a few min into the 4th but again their offense and defense bailed on them.

We lost depth by dumping Radman and Mihm. Maybe thats why our team is too tired.
