It looks like I'll be in Paris for the last 2 games of the Finals. Which if Orlando pulls it off will really suck because we have season tickets and those will be home games. So, I was wondering if there are any Laker fans from Paris who are part of LG? I need to find a place to watch the games.

That's what I am hoping, or if we play Cleveland then it looks like I will only miss the 3rd home game. That is if it is on June 14th. Which I think it will be.

You'll at least see the game if you have internet access. LG will definitely provide links for the game.

I'm not from Paris, but these two spots are probably your best bets to see the games in Paris:

The Great Canadian Pub and The Moosehead

PS: I'm from Holland and just as last year I'll be in Vegas during the last games of the finals. What really amazed me was the amount of Boston fans in Vegas compared to the amount of laker fans. It was like 50/50, while I expected at least 80/20 in favor of the lakers as Vegas is much closer to LA.

I'm in Paris usually a combined 2 months out of a year, and I've yet not found a place to watch NBA ball.

Thanks so much The Dutch pokerbrat. I really appreciate the info.

I assume you'll be in Vegas for a tournament, if so good luck.

Wow. The Great Canadian Pub looks perfect, and not too far from where we are staying. Exactly what we were looking for.

I'm in Germany right now and I use NBA League Pass International. The show the playoff games and Finals live, but what sucks for me is the 9 hour time difference between Heidelberg and Los Angeles time zones. The international legaue pass is $29 bucks which isnt to bad .

Vegas pretty much is all Laker fans and Phoenix fans. Those people cheering for Boston are not actual fans of Boston. They are either on the Boston bandwagon, or they follow a cardinal fan rule of basketball: "I have 2 favorite teams in the NBA, (insert favorite team) and whoever is playing the Lakers."

So you're staying in the vicinity of the Latin Quarter? First time in Paris?

Have fun, man.

Ok, that explains it a little bit.

I hope to be watching the finals together with a lot of laker fans in Vegas this year. Last year I was too pre-occupied with poker to go to the orleans casino in time to watch the games there. ( I read on LG that most Laker fans in Vegas watch the game over there). So eventually I was watching the games in various pokerrooms. No fun memories of these games, I have to say. No atmosphere and terrible outcome with that idiot of a Paul Pierce winning a ring.

Not my first time, but a really big trip for me because I am going there to propose to my girlfriend. So, I guess there are a few things more important than the Lakers. Just a few.

Sounds nice. Best of luck. I met my girlfriend in Paris.

Where will you do the proposing? Do it in the Tuileries gardens. Or if you want to make it really nice, propose at Versailles. Proposing at the Eiffel is a bit too cliche, but hey, people do it all the time.

I feel the same way about the whole Eiffel tower thing, but she just took a history of Paris class and I know that's what she would want. So, I'm doing it there then I have a friend in Paris who is a really amazing cook and her and one of my other friends are setting up this full on romantic dinner for us on the Seine after I do the proposal.

Ah, you beat me to it. I meant to post this a few days ago. The Great Canadian generally has a lot of American sports events playing on their TVs.
