Hey y'all.
Some of you guys know about us, "Lakers Turkey". We've been organizating big meetings to watch the Lakers games, thousands miles away from LA, for lots of years. And this one was another big one for the championship game (G5). We were about 80 people (biraz salladim hehe) who can join organization. About 50 of us couldn't join us because of some reasons like college finals or sth. And believe me, those 80 men equals about 10.000 Staples guys I think lol. But we're really hot! Just for the records, there're 10 hours difference between LA and Turkey, Istanbul. And so, "a 5 pm game" in LA means "a 3 am game" in Turkey. I mean, every single game is played between 2 and 5.30 am here and we watch all those games. We don't organizate a meeting for every single game of course, but we do or not, everyone watches every single game. And you know, Hedo Turkoglu is playing for the Magic. So of course, there are tones of Magic fans in Turkey too. But...... Suck it up Hedo. Lakers rock in Turkey!!! I mean, really, no team has more fans than the Lakers in Turkey. Our member number is just about 3.000 but we know we are waaay more than that number.
Here's some pics and videos from that victory day. You're not gonna understand the language of course but can feel it. Watch each one till end please.

Love you guys. Lakeshow rules!!!

Awesome! Must have been some tense times especially against Turkoglu and the Magic. Represent! _________________ I think the lesson here is, it really doesn’t matter where you’re from, as long as we’re all the same religion.

Turkey is one country I have always wanted to visit, and it is very high on my list of places to go. Right now, I think it is my #1 destination. I have people who work there and I hope I can go work with them some time.
But now that I know about the love the Lakers get there, I will feel even more welcome. _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.
