Right now I'd have to go with You Rock My World or Black or White. Tough choice.

Once you start working through his body of work it's nearly impossible to pick one song over another.

I listen to a minimum of 3 hours of MJ a day. Minimum.

1) Billie Jean (Epic. Vocals. Rhythm. Beat.)
2) Fall Again (His voice is so pure and amazing. Not in a gay way, at all.)
3) Smooth Criminal (Is Annie ok?)
4) Heaven Can Wait (Vocals again.)

He wasn't a pedophile. The media just wanted us to turn against him.

Also, if you come into a thread and you don't like what the thread's about, just go mind your own business you ignorant f**k.

You are not alone.
She's out of my life.
Cry
Another Part of Me
You are not alone

Those are the most impactful songs for me, plus I'm able to at least sing them thoroughly.

Non-collabo fave:
Don't Stop Til You Get Enough

Collabos:
Beat It (Eddie)
Say Say Say (Paul)
Somebody's Watching Me (Rockwell) - j/k

I could include We Are The World. He and The Boss were the two figureheads in that one at the time, it's legit.

Thriller has to be his greatest video. It was a brand new thing to do an 8 minute vid with a Hollywood director. It was a collabo with Landis and Rick Baker after he saw An American Werewolf in London, and the reason was because he was probably dying to be made into something that didn't look like himself. In the "Making Of Thriller" video which showed Mike talking about his fascination with Baker's masks and creations, Baker said he sat there quietly for hours while they put that stuff on him. Mike probably loved it. Sadly, Mike really -was- a shape shifter. The favorite line of that video was him telling Ola Ray, "I'm not like other guys...I'm different..." Ain't that the truth...

Michael was good at drawing from other areas of pop culture or music to bolster his 80s stuff. Hey, Eddie Van Halen is a virtuoso, let's call him up. Eddie said that Quincy Jones called him personally to ask while he was playing his guitar in his studio and he thought it was a prank and called him a "F'in AH". Quincy called him back and convinced him it was really him and after the song was done, Eddie said Quincy sent him a thank you letter signed, "Quincy Jones, aka, the F'in AH". Eddie apparently did that without any considerations for royalties. Dave didn't like him doing that kind of stuff. That was around the time they were getting really hostile towards each other. I believe that Jump supplanted one of Michael's songs at #1. Didn't last long, but it was difficult to grab the #1 song when Mike dropped one. Mike was the man back then. I don't even like R/B pop that much, it's not my kind of music, but he was so omnipresent that you watched him regardless of what you liked. He was a great entertainer. I think Lennon is the only icon greater than him in his prime. A combination of his personal, emotional lyrics and the hugeness of The Beatles, and also the tragic way he was taken away from us.

Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough (the quintessential dance track and one of Quincy Jones’s best production jobs)

Beat It (the quintessential R&B to Rock crossover that almost no one has managed to duplicate)

Black or White (killer groove + awesome melody = always a winner in my book)
