Brian Cook for starter. He's given us more than Kwame has the whole season in 2 games as starter.

I think Kwame gives us much more on the defensive side than Cook. It is WAY to early to give up on Kwame. He has alot of bad habits that need to be "unlearned". Plus he is now tryin to learn one of the more complex offense's in NBA. You have to give him this season to learn, sitting on the bench isn't where it will be done.

Tough question.... basically we are choosing between offense and defense... I think the answer to that is based on who the Lakers are playing... but in general, I would lean to towards Cook...

This question is the pure definition of "choosing between the lesser of two evil's..."

I was never supportive of Cook starting and still aint. His defense is still a major liabilty. I can live with Kwame not scoring anything as long as he can limit the other bigs. Kristic went 20/13 last night. And before that Vlad Rad went 13/9 and Evans went 7/10.

Cook is showing improvement since the season started (not great improvement but he is slowly getting better as a player). Kwame has not.

Give the starting spot to Cook for now.

I definitley agree with you on that,... but don't sleep on Krstic (I knew he would get a double double agaisnt our frontline). As a East Laker Fan, I see a lot of Nets games...

But I go back to my original statement., for me, who gets the start, depends on who the Lakers are playing...

Actually, in my opinion, Odom should move to the 4 spot as a starter and have Luke come in as the sf starter.

Neither - Bynum should start a C and Mihm should start at PF.

I don't think Mihm would do well at PF. I would keep Kwame starting. The Lakers need to see what they can get from him, so they know what to do next season, or the offseason after that. I think Cook has proven that he can be a good sub off the bench, and that is where he stays. When/if Turiaf is healthy enoug to sign, the Lakers bench could be much better. If you can keep Mihm for cheap once his contract is up, your bigs off the bench could be Cook, Turiaf, and Mihm. Not too bad.

1. I believe Mihm is more of a PF than a C with his agility and size. He can also shoot out to 15 ft.

2. Why do you think he would not do well at PF?
