Mychal Thompson wasn't too pleased with it either, but he wasn't planning to cancel HBO over it. The consensus at work was that Larry David pushed the envelope enough to make it uncomfortably humorous; most everyone had the same reaction as the doctor, Jerry, and even Larry at first.

Oh tell them to lighten the (bleep) up. It's a comedy show!

Can't believe they're overlooking the rest of episode, which was an all-time funny episode.

Awesome episode.

The table read was great. Makes you want another season of Seinfeld.

I was busting up during the Newman rehearsals too.

Top 5 Curb episode. No question.

Marty's joke and the fact that it kept going and going almost made me die of laughter. That was my favorite part of the episode.

The (bleep) rash thing was just awful, but great at the same time. That just came out of nowhere.

Leon is a great character.

Great episode.

When they first announced that all the cast members were going to be on this season, I really wondered if LD would have MR talk about that whole incident.

They played it perfectly.

"That's was three years ago. I made a mistake." Followed by the craft service table incident was awesome.

Michael Richards was a good sport to do it. I love how he got caught again on the camera phones.

Cool ending to this season. One of the stronger seasons of the series.

The cast of Seinfeld together on the old set. Awesome.

"I feel the same about Cuban food." My favorite line.

The Seinfeld episode would have been pretty good. They all look to be in form.

Good finale. Great season.

LOL loved the finale. It TRULY felt like a real seinfeld episode, amazing.

The "having said that" part was hilarious. I had some fun with that on my Facebook status.

A couple parts that stand out were when Larry was at Jeff and Suzie's house and was checking for the stain on the wood and shoved the books out of the way lmao.

Another one was between him and Jerry about the Do you respect wood, and Jerry goes not low grade wood, rofl

Jerry: "...Larry... we already screwed up one finale, we can't do another..."

Larry: "We didn't screw up a finale.. that was a GOOD finale..."

Surprised they'd address that Seinfeld finale so candidly in the dialogue. This finale ironically makes up for that finale.

Finally.

Reuters reports that Larry David said “I think there’s a pretty good chance” he’ll do another season of his HBO series. “Not definite yet, but we’re working on some stuff,” he added.

I was there last night when he said it. The panel was Larry, Cheryl, Jeff, Susie, Richard Lewis and Bob Einstein (Marty Funkhauser).

Funkhauser completely owned the room. Jeff Garlin almost died a few times from Funkhauser's jokes. It was amazing.

Curb is back for an 8th season.

HBO announced today that it has renewed the Larry David starrer Curb Your Enthusiasm for an eighth season. Production on the next 10 episodes will begin this summer in Los Angeles and New York; the comedy will return to the pay cabler’s schedule sometime in 2011.

“After much soul searching — and by the way, it was nowhere to be found — I have decided to do another season of Curb,” said Larry David in a statement. “I look forward to the end of shooting, when I can once again resume the hunt for my elusive soul. I know it’s here somewhere or perhaps in the rugged mountainous regions of Pakistan.” The single-camera series also stars Cheryl Hines as David’s wife Cheryl, Jeff Garlin as David’s manager Jeff and Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife Susie.

After 70 episodes, Curb is HBO’s longest-running scripted series. It concluded its seventh season last November.
