Wow, 30 people who would rather lose two than win two. I guess they would rather go 2-80, as long as the two were wins against the Heat. Pathetic.

Go to extremes, much, vsf?

People will remember the game in Miami. No one is gonna remember 2-1 vs 1-2 on the road trip.

Beat to Miami or finish behind the Clipps and Golden State? Hmmm! I vote for a 2-1 trip!

This whole road trip is a test to see how they bounce back from a mediocre home stand. It's a test to see if the last road trip was a fluke. And it's a test of how the rest of the team responds to Kobe's challenge of stepping up. But the Miami game is biggest of all of these. There will be more pressure, more scrutiny, more of everything in this game. The others are buildup and letdown.

Orlando and Washington are not expected to be title contenders. Heck they're barely expected to make the playoffs. Would it be disappointing if the Lakers lose to those two? Of course. But if the Lakers beat Miami, the satisfaction would wash away the disappointment of the first loss. And, people would chalk up the second loss to back-to-back games.

3-0 is not an option in the poll. And 0-3 is not an option in the mind of Laker fans. But I still stand by my 1-2, win in Miami.

The adult in me knows that going 2-1 is more important than beating Miami.

The kid in me, on the other hand, WOULD rather go 2-80, as long as the 2 victories were against the Heat.

But of course my REAL preference is to go 3-0 on the road trip, and I hope that's what the Lakers do!

And yeah, I know, I've GOT to see a shrink about this multiple personality disorder, someday....
