What pleases me most is Shaq won't be able to say he's the reason LeBron won a ring. If Cleveland had won we would have been bombarded with Shaqism's the entire off season. As it stands he'll be looking for another coat tail. I hope LeBron learned something about professionalism with this loss. He should stop the sideline dancing, faux photo shoots and all things seemingly braggadocio. The powder tossing's OK though copied. I truly hope he listens to those trying to tell him to take some responsibility for the loss. When they won he was the reason, they've loss so he's should share onus. The media's not as hard on him as there were Kobe during his "after Shaq" period. He's still the face of the NBA and is being given a pass, that's, IMO, enabling. We should get by Phoenix and I think the Celtics will beat Orlando. This will truly be a great season if we be the hated Boston Celtics.

By the By; Merging all things LeBron is the same as merging all things Tiger when he was the topic of the day.

Unfortunately, this thread has become too cluttered with all the merging.

yeah, but that thread was more about BJ then LeBron. No one else talked crap on LeBron in that thread, it was more just praising BJ and stuff. Pointless merge.

Another LBJ thread.. how original...

Oh I'm sorry am I in the wrong forum? This is the general NBA discussion section right? There isnt any other game or series for another 4 days, if you come here you know what to expect.

Here yea go... just in case you missed the merging of everything LBJ related... you can get you hard on for LBJ here:

Talk Crap About Lebron Thread

I don't mind the extra topic. Better than sorting through 20ish pages to find a new article or quote. Heck, I wouldn't even know about this article if it wasn't posted like it was.

In short, that "Talk Crap About Lebron Thread" is stunted.

Just my opinion.

I'm just sick of the threads... you come to this forum and you would swear its one dedicated to LBJ... every little thing written or every little thing he does must be posted here... not even Laker player get this much attention.... just look, there are easily 5 thread about him... we get it already, he had a bad game two days, we get it...

And I agree with the "Talk Crap About Lebron Thread"... because if the mods didn't merger the threads, there would be nothing but LBJ threads in the General NBA Area... push all unrelated LBJ article to the 2nd and 3rd page...

Would it kill you not to click on it? And for pete's sake there's NOTHING ELSE GOING ON IN THE NBA RIGHT NOW.

I wouldn't care if the threads didn't push other topics to page 2 and so on...

Maybe Cleveland losing will cause some conspiracy theorist to take a second look. The league defiantly wanted LeBron to advance to hype the game and increase revenues, didn't happen. If the conspiracy theory was accurate we'd have a Cleveland vs Los Angeles, LeBron vs Kobe final. I never bought into the theory in the first place even though some games I watched had me suspicious. I'm watching more sports shows now asking where LeBron will play next year than those giving him onus for the loss. He threw his coach under the bus, he teammates are next. The team flat quit. 55 seconds to go, down 8 they didn't foul, just walked down the court in defeat. LeBron's responsibility being a leader is to go down with the ship, he quit, so the team following his lead did also.

I heard Sportscenter dedicated the ENTIRE 90 minuets to Lebron coverage

No baseball highlights, just Lebron, so he wasn't joking apparently.

Sadly he wasn't... Scott Van Pelt was talking about it... and how bad it was...

I think LeBron stays in Cleveland. They've had the best record in the league two years running. His business, family, friends, commodious abode and most money any team can pay is there. I hear fans say he'll get more exposure in NY, Chi and larger markets. He's already the most exposed athlete in the league today, media choice. NY or Chicago won't give him anymore recognition. Endorsments won't be a problem because of his name. Unlike most athletes the media has chosen him so he's a household name nation wide, everybody knows LeBron. Now the problem is to clean up his image. I think Cleveland's problem is coach Brown who I heard today was history. He lost the team, that was obvious the way they finished game 6, walking out the last 90 seconds, giving up, throwing in the towel. A coach in charge would not have allowed that to happen. I think LeBron stays, Ferry tweaks the team, the FA market is fertile and they make another run next year. LeBron is like most animals moving is something they don't like to do. He won't make anymore money, get more recognition or find a team that will follow him as the one he's now leading. There's chemistry and time together that makes a move, IMO, unlikely.
