i checked out what phoenix gave him at Hoopshype.com He is making like 4 million for the 1st couple of yrs. 5 million the last couple of yrs.
Last yr in Utah,i thought he was beginning to be a very good player. This is long before he played with Nash. Last yr he averaged like 14 points. Was developing a more consistent outside shot. Has always been a great defender.I thought he was better then Derrick anderson or Antonio daniels.
Does anyone know why we didnt go after Bell? |

So giving him the Mid-level for 4 to 5 yrs would affect 2007. |

We needed to save that money so we could give half of the mid-level to Aaron McKie. _________________ "People don't think it be like it is, but it do." - Oscar Gamble

Because he would reduce our 2007 FA offer by 4.75 million in summer of 2007. |

Yes. You can use the MLE despite the cap when you are over it. But previously signed MLE contracts count against the cap when you get under. Also, the MLE counts against the luxury tax. _________________ You tryin' to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball? |

Based on some of his past interviews, i get the impression he does not particularly care for bryant. |
