I don't understand how this is the best team management could come up with. We'll just have to be patient.

I'd say both of the first two. Mitch has to do something ASAP, but he shouldn't do something completely out of desperation where it doesn't really help the team that much.

I can see that Kobe is really getting frustrated with the rest of these so-called NBA players. In the second qtr tonight I saw him slam the ball on the court twice. I'm starting to wonder how long it will take for Kobe to get completely frustrated and demand a trade, threaten to retire, or take out his frustration on his teammates a la Jordan.

I really hope Phil pressures Mitch to do something in the next couple weeks. I know Mitch often works the phones and looks for deals, but right now (and the next couple years) the onus is on him. Otherwise Kobe is going to be on the couch every May and June instead of on the court.
