Who would you guys want to take? i wouldn't mind seeing us taking Adam Haluska an Iowa F/G in the second round. But first round Dee Brown? |

It's gonna depend alot on where we pick.
Gotta remember, anyone we sign will have a contract that runs to 2008.
Considering this is a shallow draft, I actually hope we move the pick in
a trade sometime before draft day. |

Yes, trade it. Trading #10 this year for a trade that ends up being #15 next year would be a good trade. However, you could probably do better than that. |

Yeah but I'm talking about Miami's 2006.
I don't personally believe we end up in the top-10 (thereby keeping our own pick).
Just an opinion, but despite our slump I think we'll still end up the 8th seed.
Like I said, I'd rather trade the pick...
If we keep it though? We're talking about guys in the late 1st-round.
I happen to like Hilton Armstrong (UConn) alot if we go big, assuming his
stock doesn't climb further and he's still available at that point.
6'11" 240lbs. Excellent shot-blocker. Good hands, NBA wingspan.
He's been buried all 4 of his years behind bigger-name bigs, and I think
he's been overlooked.
Given no roster changes on our part, he'd probably be my pick around then. |

If by some miracle we do end up top 10. I'd pick Ronnie Brewer (Arkansas). |

I don't like Hilton Armstrong. Too inconsistent for a senior. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Agreed. It's not only that either. Just something about him, he's missing something "else".
Say no to Armstrong. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Then, to do 'dat on 'da offensive end. It's like 'Damn, I can't score on him AND he about to bust my ass." |

I think we need to start some scandalous rumor about Shelden Williams. |

Nice list Mike. I love Mardy Collins for the Lakers. At 6'6" he has a solid game all around. He's the 2nd best PG in the fraft behind Rondo. They both will probably be gone by the Lakers pick though. Guillermo Diaz is not on your list. He would be available as it looks now. As you can no doubt tell, I want a PG. Who do you think would fit the Lakers the best? |
