I got the March edition of ESPN the Mag, and theres a compatability test article in there on Durant and Perk.
Question was.
Lakers: Team to beat or old news?
Durant: "They're the reigning champions and still playing like it"
Perkins: "Yesterdays news. I dont like Pau Gasol or Phil Jackson. Phill is arrogant. Pau is soft. Kobe tries to bring out his toughness, but hes still soft"
I want to see the Lakers eliminate the thunder now. Just to see Perkins fat @ss walk off the court again. |

Denver, New Orleans, Portland and Memphis could all potentially smack them out in the First Round. OKC is weaker this year. _________________ "After watching Bryant and Cooper go at it for about 10 minutes West stood up, nodded at two team public-relations men he'd brought with him, and snapped, 'That's it, let's get out of here, I've seen enough. Good job Perkins, your team is going to die early now. Big fatarsed, stone handed, lug of dung. |

Denver or Memphis? Get real. Portland, no, they only play well against us. New Orleans, maybe. |

| I have a hard time believing he said that. And if he did, he's gonna get an ass-kicking from Durant. Don't talk smack about the Lakers. Jason Terry did and look what happened. Better to keep your mouth shut. |

I would love to see the Thunder upset the Spurs in the 2nd round and then we will have HCA against them in the WCF. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Did Perkins happen to mention Drew in this article? And how the Celtics never could beat the Lakers when the Lakers had their full lineup? |

Why are they even asking Perkins, isn't he still a scrub? Who cares what he thinks, he's a puss. |

For the record, Terry never talked smack about the Lakers, it was just perceived here as being that. He actually said some complimentary things about them. As for Perkins, I love the honesty. I wish some of our PC players would really say what they feel. _________________ Check out the thread for the official LG NBA playoff pool in the Lounge. All members of LG are welcome. Oh wow, how surprising. Somebody says something negative to Kobe, and all of a sudden VLF is very pleasant.
I find it funny that you are never pleasant about Kobe related things, but for an ex-Celtic who was largely hated by most Laker fans, you seem to be pretty friendly.
But you can continue to pretend like you don't hate Kobe. |

Speaking of soft and arrogant, is Perkins still recouping from the injury that motivated the Celtics to trade him, along with his unreasonable salary demands? _________________ The spirit of Mamba is with us all the times. Pau Gasol |

Durant? You mean the guy who couldn't bench press over 130 lbs when he came in the league? Ya, he's really going to thump Perkins for that one. |
