I find it hilarious how James Worthy puts the spot light on Kwame on "D" . They just showed it again on LTV pre-game show. I don't think he likes Kwame very much, lol. But I gotta agree with JW. Kwame is a waste of an NBA body.

"Big Game" is not unnecessarily dissing KBrown, it is just so obvious and blatant his daydreaming on the court.

Ole Two Dame James probably feels Kwame should be able to handle two at a time like he did that fateful night in Houston...

He's only hard on Kwame because Kwame is making a mockery out of the same position James played.

I still laugh when I think about his wife coming to his side with that defense. I couldn't believe it when I heard the words come out of her mouth "they weren't both for him". It was just priceless..... Like she was actually ok with this one! So that's how the Worthy's roll.....lol

It wasn't her initial response, but she did a show about wives of professional athletes about a year after the incident and repeated what James said. On the day after the incident she just came out in full support of her hubby and said people shouldn't judge him too harshly...

Thanks for pointing this out Ocho... unfortunately there seems to be a mantra on this forum that Kowame is an elite or superb defender. Doesn't jibe with reality though...

Kwame's defense regresses, so does Smush's. And goes down the drain our team defense.

I say hire James Worthy for GM right now. His comments. knowledge, passion, and great reputation as a player makes him an excellent candidate.

Angela Worthy is a scumbag. She took full advantage of Kobe's mess to go out and trash him and NBA players in general (and James, as she had divorced him by then). I remember her on Larry King, and she was a dirtbag sellout.

No argument here, as I'm in full agreement. What kind of woman, other than the golddigging variety, would have reacted as she initially did to finding out her husband was shacked up with two call girls. She showed her true colors back then as nothing but a golddigging opportunist and solidified it with her BS in the Kobe fiasco....

She's actually a pretty nice lady, who apparently never found it within herself to forgive James as (again, apparently) Vanessa has Kobe. That said, her injection of herself into the middle of the Kobe's situation was downright piggish. It's as if all of those years of pent up humiliation over the situation with her own husband found a big fat canvas in Kobe Bryant, and she disgustingly lept at the opportunity to paint away without regard to the actual circumstances involved in his situation. Shameful, really.

However, as big of game as James might've had, one of those girls wasn't for him.
