Pass, defend, steal, score, rebound, or all 5 at the same time. Enjoy him Laker fans, they don't come along but once a generation.

Kobe had zero turn overs which was a nice surprise considering the last couple of games.

I don't think Houston doubled him as he crossed half court though. I wonder how the lakers can respond when that sort of trap is employed next time.

Yup. Games like this only prove what it could be like if he had a steady 20pt scorer next to him. Thats what makes his game easy. he has always thrived when he flows in the 1st half and mauling in the second

Glad Cook and George helped Kobe tonight.

Brown even played a somewhat ok game.

Not a factor since he brought the ball up only when he stole it or on fast breaks. Otherwise Lamar or the points brought the ball up. Nice thought, but the coaches beat you to it and nullified it.

With Kobe being patience the guys really moved on offense and it paid off with a lot of open shots for a lot of people.

The guys still shot too many 3's, but the offensive rebounding was excellent.

Kwame did a great job on Yao and Lamar/George did a great job on TMac. These guys never got into a rhythm and it allowed Kobe to play rover and disturb the general offensive scheme of the Rockets.

I was impressed by the upbeat attitude of the Lakers even when the Rockets made the great run in the early 3rd period. That negative mindframe that was there in the previous 3 games was absent. Kobe didn't get frustrated tonight and everyone really responded to their roles.

Phil did a great job with his rotation. He basically shortened it and kept the players who were being effective play until they either needed a rest or had foul trouble.

Overall - B+ Would have had an A but the 3 pt shot is still bad.
