Have to wonder if Cuban doesn't own Phil like he says. Back in the day with the Queens Phil would make his comments and it was alot different. But now you have a guy like Cuban, who doesn't give a darn about status or rings, and shoots back and all of a sudden Phil looks like a sitting duck.
Seriously, right now Cuban IS in Phil's head.

I agree that Cuban won't get psyched like the Kings high rollers would.
But I gotta disagree that Cuban's in Phil's head.
To me? Neither will get in either one's head.
Neither cares what people think.
They can play their games all they like and it won't likely do much. |

I used to think that years ago. Before I thought Phil was lured by the evils of money 8) Before I thought Phil let fame get in the way of basketball.
But now I wonder.
Here is Cuban, a successfull BILLIONAIRE who cares about a ring but really doesn't care about a ring (for all of those that truly have the profile on Cuban he is about one thing ---> the dinero). Now you have Phil who is starting to look past ball (and like charles barkley) is starting to see the big picture. Maybe he is realizing that in the scheme of things he is just a lowly coach making millions while Cuban is making billions.
I know it sounds odd, and the true pride of a competitor would never let you do this, but Phil is an odd one. Sometimes I wonder if he is here for the challenge or just for the cash<??

Phil can just flip him the ring finger anytime he wants. He has scoreboard over Cuban.
Cuban can't talk about owning anyone anyway. He let last year's MVP just walk away from Dallas. |

Does Bill Gates own Cuban then? We are talking basketball not money.

Take it easy man. I am a Laker fan, just like you. I am just expressing my opinion. There is no need for you to say things like that. |

You know you are right the comment was a bit much. However, there is no reason to be defending Cuban so tirelessly. He said something completely uncalled for and stunted. Now people are pointing out the obvious. That simple. Like him don't like like him I don't care. But if you think Mark Cuban owns Phil Jackson then you're dillusional. _________________ "It's all about the beer" |

Re-read my posts bro. I never said he owned him. I just think he is a savvy business man. I will just leave it at that. I dont want to argue with a fellow Laker fan. |
