It would have been a shame if he wasnt there, if chris bosh and paul pierce can make it with loosing records, arenas should have been a lock, jason kidd deserved to be there to,sad _________________ "99% of the players in the NBA would immediately have surgery to repair a torn ligament in their small finger, but

Washington’s Arenas to Replace Indiana’s O’Neal in 2006 NBA All-Star Game
Arenas
NEW YORK, Feb. 10 --Washington Wizards forward Gilbert Arenas has been named by NBA Commissioner David Stern to replace injured East All-Star Jermaine O’Neal (torn left groin) of the Indiana Pacers on the Eastern Conference roster for the 2006 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 19 at Toyota Center in Houston.
Arenas, in his fifth NBA season, is making his second consecutive All-Star appearance. East All-Star head coach Flip Saunders will determine which player will replace O’Neal in the starting lineup.
The 2006 NBA All-Star Game will be televised live nationally on TNT in the United States and on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada at 7 p.m. CT/ 8 p.m. ET. Live audio broadcasts are available on ESPN Radio and on NBA.com in multiple languages.
Thank you, the man deserves it, putting up ridiculous numbers. |

Arenas deserves to be there. It makes you wonder what would have happened if Mitch had been able to trade into the first round to pick Arenas. That might have extended Shaq and Kobe. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

I've loved arenas since he was a rookie, but i dunno how he woulda been on a team with kobe. Both guys dominate the ball too much to make it really work. |

Mitch was trying to find a late first round pick to get Arenas. The other teams were reluctant to trade with the Lakers. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |
