The 2007 plan is "up in the air"? When did that happen? Did we add a big money player I haven't read about? Even if that's the case, the Lakers will still be over the cap this summer. Don't expect any big FA signings this summer, just the MLE.

Is that for sure? I heard it was rumored that it was. I'm probably just out of the loop on this one. I hope it wasn't picked up. The Lakers had nothing to gain by picking it up, IMO. Why even have the option in the first place if you're just gonna pick it up a year and a half early?
