www.tradelamar.com seems to think so. If you want to trade Lamar Odom check out the site and sign the petition. If you don't, respond to this post and state your reasons why he should stay. |

This thread is not bashing Lamar. This thread and that site are not attacking Lamar as a Basketball Player or athlete. Just because Lamar doesn't fit well with the Lakers doesn't mean he isn't a wonderful human being. Lamar simply doesn't fit inside of Phil offense. He certainly doesn't fit inside of Kobe's offense. That's it. |

Sure! They should trade him for Tim Duncan or KG. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

TradeLamar,
Kobe certainly thinks Lamar belongs on the team with him; he's even come out and stated that he does not want him traded.
Btw, we're not the ones who have to backup a need to keep Lamar; you're the ones who have to substantiate a need to move Odom.
What you babies need to do is stop looking for scapegoats. This team is thin even with Odom replaced, so quit your whining. Trading Odom is not going to help us unless we get back a player of higher calibur, and since your ilk think Odom is useless, I'd consider such a notion silly. _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam

No, that isn't true. Kobe was actually quoted saying he wanted Artest. Who would the Lakers have traded for that to be a possibility? There is only one answer -- Lamar.
You want my proof of why Odom should be traded -- I didn't have to look far, the news forum is full of it.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Lamar Odom, facilitator, has suddenly become Lamar Odom, fumbler, as his turnovers have almost topped his scoring in recent games.
A key to the offense practically since Coach Phil Jackson returned last June, Odom collected eight turnovers Sunday against Detroit after totaling seven Friday against Golden State. He scored only nine points in each of those games.
Odom still has value. He might flourish with another team as he seemed to do in Miami. www.tradelamar.com |

Kobe has already said Lamar is the reason he's been having a spectacular season. Whether you agree or disagree with kobe's assessment, I think Lamar should stay unless we get KG or Lebron in return. |
