People appear shorter when they are thinner. Just look at Sasha. AI is a legit 6'.

There's just no way Jordan's leap was 48". He was 6'8", so a 48" (4 feet) vertical would mean his HEAD would get to 10'8", or 8" above the rim. I've seen a lot of his dunks in his prime, but I've never seen him get even 3 or 4 inches above the rim.

Jordan was an even 6'6" where the hell did you get 6'8" from?

I doubt many of those listed verticals. Rex Chapman with a near 40" vertical? Not on this planet. Its a well known fact that Mcdyess had a 48" vertical at his peak.

"It was rumored that while he was at North Carolina State University, David Thompson could grab a quarter off the top of a backboard. While this fact has never been confirmed, Thompson's athletic abilities were certainly anything but normal. With lightening quick moves, an explosive 44-inch vertical leap, . . . "The Skywalker"

Not sure about Kobe's leap but DT hops are by far the best I have ever seen in 30+ years of following the game seriously.

Easily the best hops in at least his generation and in college he got flipped at the top of one and came down on his head and somehow walked away in a very scary moment.
