Shooting Stars loses Drexler

So crippled by injuries has the Rockets' season been, even their seemingly loaded entry into the Radio Shack Shooting Stars competition in the NBA All-Star Saturday night events will need to bring in a backup.

Rockets forward Tracy McGrady and Comets forward Sheryl Swoopes are scheduled to compete. But Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler underwent knee surgery last week and will be unable to participate.

The NBA did not have a replacement in place. TNT announced the teams on Friday. The Houston entry will go against teams from Los Angeles of Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, Sparks center Lisa Leslie and Hall of Famer Magic Johnson; Phoenix trio of Suns forward Shawn Marion, Mercury guard Kelly Miller and former Suns forward Dan Majerle; and San Antonio contingent of Spurs guard Tony Parker, Silver Stars forward Kendra Wecker and former Spurs guard Steve Kerr.

The Shooting Stars competition has contestants shooting against the clock from six locations, increasing in difficulty.

kobe-magic-lisa?
parker- wecker-kerr?Good shooters
marion, miller, majerle? Kelly miller played in Turkey ,she is a great shooter. Not a bad team.
T-mac,swoopes,drexler? What a team. Too bad drexler can't play.
