Hear me out:

Seeing how Dallas/SA are going to secure the #1 and #4 seeds and that the Northwest division winner gets the #3 seed, I think our best bet would be to have the Clippers win the Pacific (#2 seed) and drop Phoenix to the #5 spot. That way, we would avoid Dallas/SA/Phoenix until the WC Finals.

Assuming we could secure the #6 or #7 seeds (preferably #6), we would either draw Denver or the Clippers in the first round. The perfect scenario (given our present standing) would be to draw Denver with home court advantage (win) and then play the winner of the #2/7 series. Either way, we would have home court advantage since the series with the Clippers would be at Staples. That would be sick! Voila - we'd be in the WC Finals.

Of course, I don't think we would realistically advance past the 3rd round, but I think the above scenario would be a great seeding.

Actually, root for Dallas to win their division. We could easily beat them as the #8 seed, especially if we pull off that rumored trade.

I got a question... Has there ever been a time where 2 playoff teams shared the same home court?

Okay drama queens . . . you know what I meant.

Replace "root" with "hope" or "prefer" - jeez.

OT - I can't believe I just personally witnessed another meltdown.

I don't mind if the Clippers win. It's a bit like a Dodger fan not minding if the Angels win in the AL.
