If LAL organization still has the 2007-2008 plan in mind then one or more sacrifices have to be made. I give credit to one of the LG members for pointing this out. By 07-08 LAL will have 47M used (Kobe, Odom, Brown, Bynum, Cook??, and Sasha??). if the plan is to get a big man like bosh then a max contract will be the only way which we can be talking about 11-12M. So, LAL may or may not have about 3M, less or more left. Am not sure if that will help in anyway considering that to get 5 more players this plan means one of the current players contract must disappear.

One way could be is Hardway or Thomas contract. Am not sure if there is anyone will be willing to take Brown considering the way he is inconsistently playing most of the time. but who is the sacrifice and will the decision be anytime soon. i dont think any trade will help LAL to improve now, but considering the future CAP issues a trade may be required anytime soon.;

The funny thing is that LAL does not even have a cap for george to be re-signed if LAL still wants him. OPPSSSs

07 or 08 plan? that was never a plan; it's a carrot to keep the Staples full on a pipe...
It's painful to see the truth but hey, it a money game...

If the Lakers had traded Lamar Odom for Artest and Croshere, their contracts would've been off the book sin 07 and the only two players left would be KOBE and BYNUM!.

Actually, thats not true. We drafted Devin, therefore we have his bird rights...whether we're over the cap or not we can sign him to whatever we want. Just FYI

George is unrestricted this off-season. Devin Green will be restricted when the time comes.

He was talking about George he simply mispelled Devean's name. Devin Green is lucky if he last the rest of the season.
