Telfair Fined For Having Gun On Blazers Plane

Sports Illustrated - The Portland Trail Blazers have fined guard Sebastian Telfair an undisclosed amount after a loaded gun was found on the team's private jet at Boston's Logan Airport, The Oregonian newspaper reported Wednesday.

Telfair, 20, had hidden the Smith & Wesson handgun in a pillow case, but it was discovered by Transportation Security Administration personnel as the team prepared to fly to Toronto, TSA spokeswoman Jennifer Peppin told the Portland newspaper.

"He said it was an accident, Peppin said.

Incredible. You get the feeling that Portland never does their due dilligence on the picks and acquisitions.

i actaully like telfair alot i think his future is very bright. but that was stupid as hell.
