Teams like the Spurs for example have made a great team from scouting international players, can we do the same and start looking for player over sease? do we have a scouting team that track down international players.

The Lakers do have international scouting. Mitch also looks at players that scouts identify when he goes on vacation in Europe. He can line things up over the phone.

I believe international scouting is the only reason why we have Sir Flops-A-Lot on the payroll.

Isn't Rudy T supposed to be scouting for us as well? Both he and Vlade are good 'people' persons and are hopefully opening some doors overseas for us.

Vlade also was a product of international scouting. He was a very solid center in his playing days.

Spanish league is unreal. All great players from smaller countries go to play there. It's the only league that's worthy of scouting IMO.

That is parly the reason why Vlade now mostly resides in Madrid.

Vlade is well respected in Europe. He was one of a few Europeans to make it big, who entered the NBA at the time he did. Now, it is fairly common to have Europeans on teams, but Vlade was a sort of pioneer.
