It would be great to see them win another championship together.

Shaq, Kobe could be teammates again

HOUSTON - Don’t look now, but Shaq and Kobe could be teammates again on the grandest international basketball stage, the FIBA World Championship.

With Kobe Bryant having volunteered for national team duty in Japan this summer, his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Shaquille O’Neal, now playing for the Miami Heat, is mulling over an invitation.

The two feuded before O’Neal left the Lakers, but recently made a very public show of putting their differences aside.

I could see it happen.

If for nothing else but for Shaq to take credit for bringing the gold back to the USA.

You know he wouldn't want Kobe to take all the accolades.

But Shaq can commit - don't mean he'll be ready to play in 2008.
