when he's surrounded by PLAYERS WHO CAN ACTUALLY PUT THE BALL THROUGH THE BASKET WHEN HE PASSES IT TO THEM!!!
Damn, to be playing with TMac, Dirk and Duncan everyday...
It was nice to see Kobe not have to shoot so much. It looked like he was having fun getting his teammates involved, and not having to dish off to a Sasha or a Smush and know that 70% of the time the ball's not going in. |

That's exactly what I said before the game.
I said he'd go pass first cuz he's been "drowning" without people worth
passing to all year, and now is flooded with 'em.
He had 8 assists, more than any player on either team.
That's more assists than each of the league's All-Star PG's.
More than anything, he was just being courteous and setting up T-Mac
to try and hook him up in Houston.
If they'd have given Kobe the ball at the end for a game-winner, or
if the NBA wasn't so busy sweating LBJ's n*ts and non-calling the clear
foul he laid on Mac at the end, the plan mighta worked. |

sometimes I wonder how good and efficient Kobe would have been on the Showtime lakers. It would have been fun to watch, that's for sure.. best PG in Magic and best scorer in Kobe. |
