Actually the only rumors of any movement from the Suns was that they
had been considering moving James Jones specifically so that they'd have
the room to extend or re-sign Eddie House.

So House is likely off the map.

Barbosa and West I'd agree too, both would take alot to get.

I'd been talking up Mike James alot over the off-season and I sure wish
we coulda pulled out a deal for him like Toronto did.

He'll be available this summer if I remember right, so maybe we can
scoop him up then if we still need a vet PG.

Having Mike James would be insane, hes having a career year, but isnt he like 31 already?

if we can get Fish, we should do it immediately...it would definately improve our offense and defense dramatically...you guys can see the lack of effort out there by Smush defensively and on the offensive end, Smushs main role is shooting 3's, fisher is a much better shooter than him and is experienced in the triangle...his contract signed last yr was 6 yr 37 mill which is about 6 mill per yr not that bad especially considering we are never going to be under the cap...Chad Ford even said today in his blog that in order for the lakers to be under the cap enough to afford a max player they could only keep Kobe and Odom on their roster and everyone else with min contracts, which will never happen especially b/c Kwame has already been signed on for the 3rd year.

None of what i said probably matters b/c the trade is just a longshot rumor that would never happen...

*just to put it out there, i really thnk our record would be 4+games better w/ fish b/c we have someone who plays tough D, hits 3's, and misses layups lol, but seriously he has mental toughness and can run the offense effectively
