Smush/Vujacic
Kobe/Vujacic
Odom/George
Cook/Odom/Brown
Brown/Mihm
I like this recent lineup Jackson has used, hopefully he'll stick to it. It brings about good things from our current players.
-Brown plays better at the C then at the PF in the triangle and plays better starting then coming off the bench as a backup C.
-Cook plays better starting. His defense is not great, but starting atleast gives him some confidence and gets his deadly shot rolling early which provides the Lakers with a spark starting right off the gates and allows Cook to continue to play throughout the game with confidence.
-Odom can play PF where he has proven to be effective rebounding and getting closer looks to the basket behind Cook more often now because Brown is busy playing C.
-With Mihm coming off the bench, we actually have a BENCH now. Call it the Bench Mob or whatever, but Sasha, George and Mihm are a legit and even deep Bench in this league. Puke Walton can fight for that ninth spot with the rookies we have.
Anyways hope PJ sticks with it, or something close to it... _________________ Kevin Love. 2015. |

I don't know the Lakers record w/o Mihm is pretty bad but that had mostly to do with not playing defense. |

i have a feeling that Kwame will stay as starting C too....
which is pretty rough on Mihm.....waaaaay rough actually
however, it is intruiging and does indeed give us a legitimate bench, it's just a pity we have to pansy so much to Kwame to make him do something and Mihm has to give up his starting spot to accomodate him
he better give something back.....he has the "potential" to be a Ben Wallace type player |

Kwame's actually significantly better at C than PF.
I have seen an improvement in his game at C. |

I think with Mihm's foul trouble issue, this actually may be better. |

Nevertheless, Mihm is still a better center than Kwame. Bench Kwame...start mihm and cook.
kobe 4 mvp.

Kwame is way better playing Center, cuz this way he can play close to the basket, and dunk the ball more, as a PF he'd have less rebounds and shoot from mid-range, which would be bad. Mihm from the bench wouldnt bother me, it would even prevent him from foul trouble, I think both of them will get high 20's PT, so Im cool with it. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

I would prefer to have Kwame at Center, Cook at PF, and Mihm coming off the bench to fill in for either guy. That would mean Cook would be warmed up to shoot the ball instead of getting cold sitting for a while. |

I like this lineup too because Mihm could go at 2nd string centers more often. Kwame's shot blocking might be a problem though |

Forgive me for beating a dead horse but a lot depends on matchups. We know Kwame plays better post defense, and if Cook can hold his own he will play more and help keep this to a 8 man rotation. With Mihm starting tonight I'm not going to complain. I would like to see Kwame out there setting screens for Kobe though. I guess the upside of not starting Mihm on some nights is he can't pickup 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes if he isn't on the court.....can he? |

Kwame just cannot be a starter until he learns to play help defense. He is a better post defender than Mihm against the other big bodied centers but he is AWFUL at help defense. Mihm ... even hurt ... alters shots. He is being credited with only one block so far tonight but I SWEAR I saw three plus at least a couple of near blocks. Plus Mihm ... when healthy ... has proved to be a pretty consistent offensive threat at the C position. Kwame is a threat about 1 out of 10 games.
Besides ... do you all REALLY want to reward his more consistent play this year by benching him in favor of Kwame??? |
