Gotta look forward to something, and I'm so sad to say that we can only look to Mckie's return now and bring some "veteran" leadership. . Damn annual MLE bloodsuckers

All I keep hearing is "a couple of weeks away".

Do we have the same option at the end af the year as we did for Vlade where we can buy him out for cheaper?

I will gladly take back all of the negative thoughts I've had about him if he returns to help us move up a slot or two in the playoff bracketing, and actually plays (near) a full season next year.

Otherwise, what a waste.

McKie playing the Profit role would really, really, really help us.

We have had horrible luck with the mle. If he were healthy, I wonder what more we could have done.

Wrong question.

It should be: "When does McKie return our $2.5 million?"

I think I'll ask Mitch to sign me to the MLE this summer. I'm 32 yrs. old, 5'8", 155 lbs., and can't dribble, shoot, rebound, or block in an NBA game.

And as of today, neither can McKie.

Hi Lakersground,

Man I had high hopes for Aaron, he was the veteran glue for the Sixers all those years I thought he could also be the stabling influence to our younger guys here. Guess just like our GM, I goofed.

its a bad signing but only in hindsight. Just like Vlade, Mckie's health screwed us over. If he is healthy he will help us a lot given how sucky one half of our back court can get at times.

Fingers crossed that he can come back.

Even if he does come back, I don't see much playing time for him.

Who's minutes is he going to take? Sasha's? That's the only person I can think of. And I am not even sure he is better than Sasha right now.

welcome!

if he's in game shape by the last 2-3 weeks of the season, he could be helpful in the playoffs, thats right the PLAYOFFS!!

They said that a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing if he doesn't come back by the end of this year, he won't be back at all. Hopefully, the Lakers put the TO with a buyout option in his contract like they did with Vlade's.

On second thought Phil probably would keep McKie on the pine much the way he did with more talented guards like Rider and Richmond. So I doubt it matters though.

I mean he serious hasn't shown any true contributions when he wasn't inured. So therefore I don't see no real true sense of urgency for his return. Just really glad that we got Chris Mihm and Lamar came back because that road trip where they were gone really hurt us.
