So yeah, I went to the game with my two Kings friends.

Needless to say, there was plenty of trash talking going on, but as the game progressed it became definitely one-sided.

They aren't dumbass Kings fans, but it was still good to be able to talk all this crap.

Well, they haven't really WON anything, and that's about as close as they ever came, and they may NEVER even get that close again!

Not to justify Artest picking his nose and then licking it, but what really happened is he got hit in the nose and started to bleed, he checked his nose by picking it and then saw blood licked it, so he didnt have to come out of the game, if you recall shortly after that play there was blood on the court and Artest had to have a 30 second timeout, when he came back he had a swab in nose.

It's funny to see how much the Kings fan simply HATE the Lakers, when Laker fans really don't care about them anymore. In fact at CSUN, I have a good friend who's a huge Sac Kings fan.

I hadn't seen him in about a semister (6 months) then i bumped into him the other day and was suprised to see him wearing a Lakers #8 jersey.

I thought he had finally convereted until he showed the back of the Jersey,

instead of "Bryant" it read, "guilty"

Or devean george's half court shot before halftime that had the ball still in his hand as the clock expired and would have rendered Horry's shot meaningless at the end of the game. or how about every time DICK "head" bavetta blew his whistle in game 6.

They may be wrong about a lot of things but, they are damned accurate about Bavetta being a "Dick head"!

It's good to know that he gets on somebody elses nerves besides us!

There were a couple people who noticed Ron's "pick and roll" in the game thread (myself included) if anyone wants to go look.

I actually came to post what gp5 already said. I don't want to defend Ron since calling him Booger Artest is way too funny, but he wasn't licking snot or boogers off his nose. He was checking for blood and found some. If he wipes it off on his jersey and a ref sees it, they'll stop the game, so licking it off his fingers was the only option. That being said, let's please continue to call him Booger. And someone come up with a clip of it because it's hysterical. TNT just happened to switch to the Artest cam right at the right time and catch him picking-and-licking up close and personal.

So Artest DID eat his boogers

Just for the record, his nose was bleeding and he didn't want to wipe it on his jersey. The refs did catch it though and made him take care of it.

That being said, man that was funny! I bet the second after he did it he thought, "oh crap!".

Good stuff. Good stuff.

They can go inside much easier, because they are killing us from the perimeter. We haven't got any real outside game going, so they can concentrate on protecting the paint. There is a value to near sure thing perimeter shooters. We just have almost no serious outside threat anymore.
