I dont know if J Oneil is a free agent after this year, but I heard Lakers are going to go after him. Is this at all possible? I'm not aware if J Oneil will be a free agent or if the Lakers can sign him under the NBA rules. I just heard it on the radio that J Oneil is going to be pursued. Anyone know? _________________ To win the title, Lakers will have to overcome the world. |

Not a FA. If word gets out he is available, he will have a ton of suitors. |

There is a Chris Bosh for Jermaine O'Neal rumor on the Pacers message board. Toronto is unsure if they can resign him, and want to get the most value for him. It seems that Indiana is going young. And with Granger, Harrison, and Bosh they'd have an impressive frontcourt for the future. |

looks like indiana really missed their opputurnity to have somethin special, ron artest for the most part blew it all up with his tantrum in detroit, their probably seeing that their best bet is too rebuild for the second time in 6 years i guess? |

nah Indiana has said that they never offered Jermaine for Bosh. Just something the internet came up with. His contract ends in 2009.] |

I have no CLUE why Indy would be making JO "available," after they've
made him the centerpiece of their team, as a post-player, an All-Star,
and arguably a top-5 big in the league today...
...yet I've heard it from a handful of outlets.
If it's true, heck yeah let's go for him |

haha and I was so ready to jump in with a "DUH!"
I agree, I'd rather have KG or Bosh.
Although any of those three would make us instantly legit again. |

JOneal might actually be a better fit with Kobe. He moves better without the ball. KG is obviously a better passer and defender though. |
