You take a timeout when the opposition goes on a 6 or 7 point run, not a 17 point run. When the Lakers were committing turnovers and Elton scored 3 straight times on Vagina Mihm, Phil should've called a timeout, set a play, and sub in Kwame Brown. Kwame sucks, but at least he can make Elton work.

Phil Jackson cost the game on a decisive third quarter stretch. He doesn't realize he has to be more careful with a young NBDL team.

"We don't need any trades, we have a young team with the collective IQ of a grapefruit." The Laker management is horrible.

-Kwame shuts down Brand in the first of and holds him to only 8 points
-Phil starts Cook instead of Kwame in the third quarter
-Brand rapes the Lakers

Good job you moron, let's bench our best post-defender who was frustrating Brand in the first half, and start Cook because he scored 5 points at the end of the second quarter when Brand was out of the game. Simply brilliant.

i actually wanted Cook to start myself. It worked in the second quarter. If any he should of subbed Kwame for Mihm after Brand kept owning him.

Where the heck is Bynum? Where is that increased playing time that Phil promised? Phil must be the worst coach in the league when it comes to coaching young players.

What the hell was Phil doing? Get a set rotation and tinker with it now and then. No need to change it up every single game. WTF is he doing putting Green in there? No Bynum but Ronny early on?

We didnt use Cook tonight like we should have.

How does this team go from looking amazing last night to this? I don't get it.

I don't think its Phil's Fault. It's always his style to coach "relaxed" and stuff..but it's just that the players are mediocre at best..What could he have done? Yes kwame stopped brand on a couple of occasions, but Kwame is a liability on offense and sometimes defense..And he doesn't rebound or do anything worthwhile. At least cook can shoot.

It's Phil's fault for believing this team is smart enough to figure stuff on their own. What's with that Clipper run with no timeouts? You can get away with that on a veteran team.

Phil wanted to get Odom involved after first half. So Kobe becomes passive and Clips go on a huge run in the third. Doh.

Pick up your poison decision. Keep Kwame and see offense break, put Mihm - defense breaks.

It's totally Phil's fault. Not starting Cook. Not bringing him in till 2 minutes left in the first half??? Kwame has freakin boards for hands and Lamar is Lamar. Who was that guy the last 2 games? He didn't wake up till the 2nd half, and then it's frantic. No rythym, back to inconsistent and unsure of himself.
Smush and Sasha??????? Wow. Back to Phil. Are you kidding me? Turiaf and Green in before Cook? Don't even get that. Talk about stacking the cards against your own team.
