How come Kobe and Smush love the 3 even though they should under 35%. They are they only two players on the team that can create their own shot but they always settle for those quick 3's the kill a rally, especially Smush.

Part of Kobe's problem is launching at the end of games to try and make a game out of lost cause. I don't know if Smush really has a problem but Kobe is a 3point-holic. I wish he would slash to the basket more.

In wins Kobe attempts 5.4 threes.
In losses Kobe attempts 7.4 threes.

Interesting.

the only time we should take a 3 if its wide open or if we are down by 3 with like 3 seconds to go.

Interesting.

You probably understand that the 7.4 attempts come when the Lakers are desperate to decrease a 20 point deficit, correct? I think we've all seen how many desperation threes Kobe throws up just to have a shot at getting the team back in the game.

Nonetheless, when the game is in the right flow, Kobe should be stepping in to get a better percentage shot.
