Murray wouldn't have changed the landscape of the team. Mitch wants the landscape changed he said plus Murray would have added quality depth to this team, but it might have cost them some salary cap money and improved the team, so so much for that.

The way Parker has developed is not all that sharp as we thought it could be in consistency. However being optimistic Smush could develop for a promising future under Phil's principle. As what the best general manager ever(kidding) said," Where the second youngest team in the N.B.A . "
Now for Flip, he would of helped the team but not any better than how it is going for the squad we have now. As much as it bothers me to say in some type relief that where in the 8th seed now. Berely floating above water for playoff contention.

Other than the fact that Flip is a short SG, who is a defensive liability, who shoots a low percentage, there is no reason why the Lakers wouldn't get him.

If Mitch paid attention to the games he'd see that we struggle to find offense when Kobe is on the bench. This thing with Mitch Kupchak is so tiring.. just because we couldn't get a KG doesn't mean we couldn't improve. The little things matter alot and losing Profit really shows that. You don't have to make earth shattering moves Kupchak but please patch a few holes with some cheap patches while we wait for the big fish..

Sorry it's frustrating to watch 1 guy carry a team over and over again.

Because we have Phil Jackson? Do you really think this team woudl be that much better with Flip as the coach? The only reason his record is that good right now is because Ben Wallace, Billups, Rasheed, Rip, and Prince are on his team.

Flip wouldn't get the Lakers any closer to becoming a good team. He would do quite the opposite in fact.

Flip's offense >> Smush, Sasha, McKie

And if Flip is a bad defender, what do you call Smush? or Sasha? LA has one of the worst backcourt defenses in the league.

When Allen went down, Flip showed he can flat-out score. That could have been useful when Kobe is getting doubled, while the others brick shots.

The Sonics needed Earl Watson. They needed someone who could defend. Flip can put up some points, but that's all.
