If we had a for sure lottery pick, I could live with it. But the fact that is the Lakers end up with the 11th pick means it goes elsewhere really sucks.
Check my posting history, I have said since the Shaq trade that two years in the lottery would be worth it if the Lakers could use the picks and financial flexibility well. They have done well with the picks, we will see how they do with some improved flexibility.

Forget it, just an example of today's unrealistic fans. They expect the Lakers to be in the Finals every season, and expected Phil to have the team at the top of the West by now. Patience is a lost virtue. Good thing they weren't Laker fans in the 90's, or they would know how difficult it is to build a winner, and how special it is to have one.

Well, I have to say...
I find it interesting how other teams can take Kobe "out" of the game by doubling, and sometimes, triple-teaming him, and we let a hot player (Pierce) run wild. |

Actually he'd probably enjoy it, but it depends on what time of year he goes. There some pretty good snowmobiling in the winter and three world class golf courses to play on in the summer. Also some of the best restuarants in the state are located in Lottery. But the fall is pretty rainy and miserable, so I'd definitely suggest he not make plans to go between the months of October & December. I'd also stay away from May & June as that's peak tourist season. Funny thing is I didn't even know Kobe had been there before. Lottery is a pretty small and unknown town. Usually it's only locals who have even heard of it....
