after watching the replay several times, it looks like waltons inbound pass was deflected. it was intended for lamar odom who had a layup if the pass got there. instead it magically went to kobe at the ft line. so my question is...

if it got tipped, then the clock shoould have started at the tip, and therefore, by the time kobe got the ball, he would have had around .5 seconds instead of 1.7, and then he wouldnt have got the shot off anyways. so say he made that final shot, would the refs have waived it off after looking at the replay even though according to the clock he got it off in time...or would they redo it all or what?

and lastly...if luke walton is such a good passe..why couldnt he get LO the ball for a layup!!
