wanna know why? because it's the perfect excuse for players not working out. i think we'll be hearing a lot of "he's just trying to figure out the triangle" over the next two years.

I would say Cook has worked out. I like Bynum. Ronny Turiiaf is giving every indication he's working out too. Walton is by no means a great player, but he can play in this league. As for playing the triangle, Phil is a $10M per season coach. More Championships have been won using the triangle in the past 15 years than any other system. Kobe plays well within the system. Why wouldn't the Lakers play the triangle?
