This season is rapidly looking more and more like the last. Night in and night out it seems like some no-name or geezer well past his prime gets a career/season high on is. And each time it happens I become a little more disgusted and a little more despondent. If the Lakers lose tomorrow - which, unfortunately, is a distinct possibility - I might have to take a little break from Lakerland ...

Darko!! Yeah! I'd luv to see Darko have a good game. He's been so Barkleyed upon like Kwame that I'll totally root for him to have a good game. Perfect scenario would be for Darko to go off for 26 pts, then in the waning moments of the game have him go up for a slam and have it blocked by Kwame and then Kwame runs the floor with the blocked steal for a monster jam game winner. I could then have a gander at both LG and the Orlando website and watch all the hater losers comment on how both Darko and Kwame were lucky but still suck. Yeah, that would be a pefect night.....

Lakers will kick their a*s, hand it to them on a plate. I see that happening. That's just how this team rolls. They look like the freakin keystone cops, running into each other, losing to teams that they shouldn't, and then, out of nowhere they focus as a group and deliver. And yes, I think you'll see some defensive stops. Maybe even some TEAM defense. Who knew? It can happen!
