Sucks! Horrible! Who the heck is in charge of programming for Fox Sports?

What freakin' Laker fan wants to hear what the heck an actor/actress/model/whatever is doing with their careers? It's one thing if they get an informed famous person that knows the Lakers and the game, but it's another thing to have somebody on that doesn't know anything about the team.

So Rob Lowe has been at many Laker games throughout his career, but what the heck did he have to offer about input on the current team? I don't even think he knew who Turiaf was.

Their barable now that they trimmed them down.

Good job for the fans who complained about it being too long..

The only decent ones where when they had James Worthy and Fox. Its lame though. I watch the games to watch the game not so they can talk to some celeb.

See, I never saw these. All the ones I saw were horrible. If I saw James and Foxy, I probably would be a little more forgiving.

OT for sure.

But, they really have to get rid of these things. I never heard the Chris Rock one, but in general, nobody cares to hear what the heck these celebrities have to say about their own careers or the Lakers. This guy today may be a huge Laker fan, and that's great to know, but do we really care that much? Stu can mention it and move on.

I don't need to hear him babble for ages about how much he likes the Lakers and what a good luck charm he is while he's on air since the Lakers started to score.

I thought they rid this from their programming after enough people complained, but the last few games, I notice its back in full force.

FSN must have some of the worst ideas ever.

LOL...His one quote was funny, "Well, the Lakers are great. They've usually got 3-4 great players and I mean, now they've got Kobe and...well...the other guys are great too."....HAHAHA...he's been a life long fan, but I'm always curious how many of these actors/actresses down on the floor actually understand the game (to the x's and o's).

Lakers Live wire=automatic mute button for me. It totally ruins the game for me and I realized I sometimes enjoy watching the game on mute.

Atleast we went on a 10 or 12-0 run during the whole thing. How can Rob Lowe call himself a hardcore fan and not know dick about this team or game, same with Jon Lovitz.

I understand when the Lakers play home games on national TV the obsession that ABC or TNT has with finding celebrities in the crowd. They're playing to a national audience, so I get it. But we see that (bleep) every night. There's nothing more annoying than FSN seeking out which Hollywood (bleep) is in attendance. We know Jack and Dyan are there and that's all we care about. Rob Lowe for god's sake! Who gives a crap?

During the Live Wired thing tonight I was hoping that someone on LG would start a thread about how much it sucks so I wouldn't have to. I had it muted during the whole thing. I'm trying to watch a basketball game you idiots, put the (bleep) camera on the floor and call the game!

The other day on TNT, Marv was saying that NBA TV is running one of their games announcer-less as an experiment of some kind. I love this idea. It sounds magical. I watched a game a few years back where the mics on the floor and in the crowd were working, but the announcers' weren't. It was like heaven.

"He's the best player on a bad team."

To borrow from the poster above, Chris Rock got owned that night like no one has ever been owned before.
