From what I recall, Webber was even slower laterally back then. He was fresh from rehab after microfracture surgery. But even then, Kwame put together some very impressive games during the latter half of the 2003-4 season. He might have continued that trend in 2005, but he got derailed by injury before the preseason. He just never regained that confidence. |

You need to watch the game before talking out the side of your neck. Kwame was remakable at both ends that night and his game that night is one of the 15 most efficient ever played by any player in the NBA.
You all know more than Phil. It just amazes me that rather than coaching teams to nine championships, you would rather sit behind your keyboard and take pot shots. Come on out of Mommy's basement once in a while and get some sun. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu3vkwP3GHQ |

Kwame's issues are %100 mental. If he's in the right headspace, he could put up a game like that at any time (provided he's given the ball).
That said, it's harder to fix mental issues than problems with mechanics. |

Tony Delk had a 50-point game or two.
Doesn't mean he's gonna average 30ppg for a season that same year.
Like Socks said, every dog has his day.
I'll admit, it's evidence that alot of the tools are there but Kwame just
doesn't have his head right.
I've just given up on believing he might end up fixing that. |

Not true at all. I would much rather coach a team to 9 championships. By all means, please arrange a guaranteed contract for me for $10M/yr for the next 9 years. I promise either to sweep the entire term of my contract, or I'm willing to step aside graciously and let another try (and keep the remainder of my guaranteed money of course). _________________ Nerd rock in progress.

Don't forget Lamar also had a 30-19-11 game against the Kings back when he played with the Heat.
Too bad these 2 can't play with any level of consistency. |

The 30 points don't surprise me, because anyone in the NBA has the ability to completely go off on any given night. But the 19 rebounds really surprises me. Rebounding is all heart and effort. Then again, it's not THAT surprising, considering how everyone says Kwame plays with more energy when he gets more touches on offense. |
