Wow I just wasted a good 15 minutes reading yet another piss & moan thread. Could the Laker lockeroom be like this thread? I think so.

So true. I quoted you on by blog. Here the link[/url]

I made a post about this a few months ago when the Lakers beat the Clippers and I was behind the Lakers bench.. Devin George and Luke Walton was giggling like little girls the whole game and this team is a reflection of the scrubs they dont care.

Does anyone expect guys like Bynum, Turiaf, Smush, Cook and Walton to be mad?

They are young guys who don't know what it takes.

If a guy like Kobe or Lamar was laughing about all these types of losses, that's one thing.

I don't think judging from what they have said in their interviews either player really thinks the Lakers are playing at their best of capablities.

How do you know that?

Were you there in the team bus?

Please. And just because a guy smirks during the game doesn't mean he doesn't care about the team's success.

Odom was the guy that came back injured (when we know many guys wouldn't have). Odom was also the guy that had surgery immediately last season and didn't delay it into the summer so that he could be back by training camp.

You have no proof and are making silly assumptions.

Oh pleeez... look at the dude's face when he makes a mistake i'm not gonna explain myself hundreds of times but Odom doesn't have a heart of a champion or a winner for that matter.

It's simple to say Odom is one of those guys who have been giggling plus there is proof guys who get high giggle.

And you think he's high?

That's rubbish. The league is looking at him extra hard because of his past. There is noway he can slip up during the season and get away with it.

Go ahead Dagger, keep posting that rubbish. We''ll see what happens with this team in the end.

What do you expect from this team?

Look at our roster. They don't want to get their a**** in the playoffs. Be real.

Their defense was terrible.

Of course Kobe is not in on this. Kobe hates losing.

My guess it's Odumb and Smush! These guys don't give a sh**.

Yeah that's why it was reported that Odom had a meeting with Phil saying that he was frustrated with the team's progress.

Typical pro Kobe, anti anybody but Kobe response.

Did you even hear Mychal Thompson's comments? My guess is NOT.

Mychal said "It's time for Kobe to start ripping into these players"

That means Kobe is not part of it.

lt is time for Kupcjak and Buss to RIP INTO these players..

It is NOT Kobe's responsibility to babysit and discipline these players.. It IS his responsibility to be the best HE can be..

All I know if this was a Jerry West GM'd team, he would go into the locker room or practice floor and kick somebody's butt! This cannot be tolerated by Laker players, coaches, or management.

Here is a template for the relevance of the player bashing going on in this thread since it is based on substantial evidence:

"I bet it was [INSERT YOUR PERSONAL WHIPPING BOY HERE]. I can tell because he [INSERT YOUR FAVORITE ANNOYANCE OF SAID PLAYER HERE]."

It was Odom. If you wish to disagree, go ahead. I even remember the game when Kobe had just come out at the end of the game and I think Wafer had gone in for him and he was trying to get fancy and almost lost the ball. Kobe yelled at him to hold on to the damned ball, and who was sitting next to Kobe laughing it up? Odom. Don't take my word for it...break out your tivo box and review it yourself.

Mychal Thompson just said after the game some Lakers players were "Giggling and playing" on the team bus and plane.

WTF is that? I can't stand that sh**. It's a losers attitude!

if true....this truely is disturbing and i'm not over reacting either

playing in the NBA is a job for these guys and they get paid very very well to do their job - which at the end of the day is simply play the game they love - i wouldn't mind doing that?

the problem is i feel like many of the Lakers players "feel" like it is just their job - and that they turn up and go "oh man i don't wanna go to work today" and "oh well the sooner this is done my working day is done and i can relax, don't matter if i did a good job or not"

and this is a huge problem....i think it is team chemistry

we do have decent players, but they just cannot put it together or be consistent at all....period???

look at the Pistons - sure they ahve talent, but their biggest thing is team spirit and everyone accpeting thier "roles" on the team

all the Lakers (excluding Kobe and Ronny) need to just man up and have a go

Pathetic. I can take a good guess. George, Luke, Smush, Odom.

In the span of 2 years, we've basically gone from a team that was too old and slow to a team that is too young and green. That, is on the front office. Any clueless schmoe will tell you that you need to strike a balance.

This team desperately needs a Pj Brown/Danny Fortson/90s era Charles Oakley type or two to get things on the right track.

This doesn't surprize me one bit. I mean, look at Odom. He's the poster-boy for this kind of behavior. He screws up on the court, and he laughs like an idiot. MAN, these guys SUCK. I wish we could trade everyone on this team except Kobe, Andrew, Ronny, Cook and Mihm.

Its situations like these that call for players of the Charles Oakley fabric. Somebody needs to get in these kids faces and it aint management or coaching that needs to take the task. It needs to be a veteran player, perhaps someone who's been thru the battles before who has the clout to rip into these guys.

If we miss these playoffs and follow next season with another miss, things are gonna get really ugly in that locker room.

There are a few players i no longer care for on this roster anymore:

Cook
Luke
Kwame

And some whom i have doubts about:

Devean
Smush
Sasha (at least he shows determination and heart)

Top that off with players who havent contributed jack or much of jack:

Slava
McKie
Laron (performed well before he got injured)

That basically the entire roster just about.
Maybe these guys DID overachieve................
