yeah, last week I wrote that Fred Hoiberg wouldn't be a bad additon because he brings leadership, a great personality, can shoot the hell out of the ball, and plays with intensity.... him and Ronny Turiaf have been through the same things so he'll fit in.... could be like a Steve Kerr

hey in my opinion you could bring in 2 players for sure if not 3. i would have no problem cutting green, slava, mckie to bring in brunson, hardaway, jackson. i mean they could proabbly add a little mor eto the team the the 3 we would be letting go

Brunson won't happen. He was picked up on waivers by the Rockets.

Knowing the Lakers, Jim Jackson won't happen.

Prove to me Mitch that you want this team to go somewhere.

He would be a great pick up in my opinion. He is a hell of a lot better than our bench.

The Lakers have about the sixth highest payroll in the NBA, and the most expensive coach. There is no lack of spending money compared to other teams. They went after Anderson and Delk, but other teams with much better records landed them.

We need to sign both Penny and J.J. we need help. We could waive Medvedenko and McKie or Wafer.

From Lakers Dynasty 2000 at CL:

Also, Jeannie said something along the lines on Dave Smith show like "for all we know Mitch is signing Jim Jackson right now" or something like that...

Take it for what it's worth.

I heard that interview and it may have been an implication, but that would just be speculation
