one interesting stat today is that kobe got his 40 points in only 36 minutes. he sat out 4 minutes of the 1st half, and a long stretch of the crucial 18-0 run, then returned to ice the game with some good shots and his usual excellent freethrow shooting.
props to the rest of the team tonight (especially lamar) for picking up the slack. if only this could be the case every game. this really shows how much better we'd be if lamar could consistently average about 8ppg more than what he's doing now, especially when you consider the number of close games we've lost this year.
don't misunderstand - this is meant to be a POSITIVE post. we can be a much better team, if only certain things would click into place more consistently. |
